Trump has been talking of paying off the debt, eg, with the $5m gold cards, but of course, I have been wondering if that would actually happen. So here are some courses of action that I can imagine:
a) Close the fed and cancel the debt through whatever legal or military law means. My only concern would be what effect this might have on the value of the dollar.
b) Take over the fed similar to the above, so that it is now owned by the people, so any debt repayments are to the people. Hmm. How about have any profits funnelled into the sovereign wealth fund?
well, we could start issuing greenbacks again as part of the transition process, same as old hickory did when he took down the central bank of the time...
Then find out where all of our debt payments have gone, and go retrieve our stolen wealth.

The dollar can only retain its strength if the fed ended. Fed has killed 99% of the dollar's value and is actually trying to kill it faster than ever.
