Well I just hope it's more like $50k. My family and I have been paying taxes for years... and the crummy DS have stolen trillions, not billions, from taxpaying Americans. $500k per household would be justice for that, AND permanently ending income tax. Even $50k would be a step in the right direction. $5k feels like chump change for a dying middle class.
More is often better. But if remember the stat correctly; 60% of the households don’t have $1,000 of emergency money. $5K could relieve a lot of stress for a lot of people.
