Joe Banister was a Special Agent for the IRS (the guys who carry guns and make arrests).
He thought he was doing a good thing. But when he realized how corrupt the system of IRS was, he quit.
Later, they prosecuted him, but he beat them in court (jury would not convict).
The 5th Amendment says you do not have to be a witness against yourself. Well, that's what an IRS tax form is when you sign under penalty of perjury that everything is true and correct (how would YOU know -- especially if somebody ELSE prepared the return?).
He said that even though the 5th Amendment is supposed to be a protection, anytime he wanted to investigate someone for possible prosecution, the FIRST THING he was told to do was to pull all of that person's previous tax return filings ... SO HE COULD USE THE SIGNED RETURNS AGAINST THEM.
IRS Whistleblower reveals that the agency uses an antiquated computer system (called IDRS) using software from the 1960s. This system is composed of four different master files: one for businesses, one for personal, one for government, and the last was forgotten by the whistleblower.
"The taxpayer thinks we can magically look up anything and find any information we want; we can just sort through a huge database. We don't have that. If anything is going to be looked at, it's brought up on an individual case basis. Everything I receive or my case load to work, is exported into an Excel. How it gets from there to IDRS, I don't personally know. It's taken from Excel, they break it down. There's a lot of time by Case Selection to put together our inventory and select which cases we're going to be assigned to work." ~IRS Whistleblower.
O'Keefe reveals that there are more IRS whistleblowers coming forward soon
If this creep had any amount of character he would set a better example to his kids, cut it with all the disability schtick, get out of the personal porn dungeon he works in with no heat, stop playing his 1980's video games, quit working for the IRS and get a real job before the fucker is DOGE'd.
Over the top with the fake emotion and kiddie huggies crap.
I'm calling bull shit and I think O'Keefe is expecting us to see through this IRS dweeb too. A phony "honey-pot."

Really does seem like the IRS has been faking and fumbling for decades. God knows they sure screwed mine up.

Another agency with antiquated systems. Just as our FAA.
They have not cared about our country for a very long time.
Wizard of Oz levels of illusion
Pass the upgrade; close it up!

Is this guy the best they could do?
