It's a shame that Elon seems to stutter a lot, and is slow to verbalize what he is trying to say. But everything he does say is so spot on. The guy is super smart, smarter than I am, just not the best communicator (which I'm also not), but sometimes his points come painfully slow. Still love the guy though, he's a patriot and someone who is honestly trying to improve the country.
Can't have it all right...like Angrydwarf said I think his brain has to sift through oceans of data. I also believe he does his best to be calculated in his responses (while also being self aware he's not the best public speaker thus the calculation).
Either way the man is a true patriot to put everything on the line when he doesn't have to for freedom of speech and our country he loves so much.

I think this happens when super duper smart people have too much information floating around in their brain.
A 14 year old boy can give a super fast answer to any question because he has only a few items to choose from for an answer.
But yeah, he needs some coaching for public speaking to make it a bit smoother for the listener.
