I've posed this question several times here on GAW and so far have not seen an adequate answer: Why did Schumer vote the way he did on the CR cloture and again on the CR itself? His action defies all logic, given his previous anti-Trump stance and his solidarity with the Dimwit Party.
Did someone reveal to him that they had information that could put him in jail as leverage to vote that way? It defies any attempt that I have tried to figure out, why did he vote that way. I'm not complaining, I'm glad he did... but why?
Boiled down, it was the lesser of two evils, from their point of view.
If the gov't shut down, there'd be no one to push back against Trump and Musk. We'd be seeing wholesale departmental slaughter. Which would have made me very happy, but (D)ems very unhappy.

It's because he's figured out that the Fascii-Socio-Commies within the Dem Party actually want this great nation to fail and go down with a wimper, and if he allows it to happen, his head will literally be in the chopping block.

He realized if they shut the Government down it would be way worse for the DEMONrat party.
This would have turned more away from the party.
I actually agree with him on this. If he caves to the Socialist Party of America, then the Democratic Party truly is lost and should just disband.
