In my perfect world, the White Hats would go fetch her and get her whatever medical care she needs, to then get her into witness protection. Why that part hasn't already happened, I have no clue.
That's the problem - we have NO way of knowing whether the White Hats have fetched her to protect her or not.
Clue: your perfect world does not exist. I think they are prioritizing her not dying. If this is Australia, it may get no better than that.
