Honestly the Movie would have probably worked better cutting out Leonardo and Kate Winslets Characters and following the supporting characters. Most of whom were acted far better.
Not to mention the added implication that Rose even 60 years later. Was still thinking about and longing for the Dude she knew for like 2 days and banged in a car. Instead of thinking about the Guy she actually built a life with. Not to mention dumping the big pricey jewelry she could have sold or passed on to her children.

There were three of them, and they did not oppose the creation of the Federal Reserve. One was on record as supporting it. Truth is preferable to a satisfying falsehood.
The only important thing about the Titanic sinking (regarding the Fed) was that J. P. Morgan was not on board, having his travel plans disrupted by attending to the shipping of his art collection. Morgan was a prime mover behind the creation of the Fed. It didn't matter that the Titanic sank.
