The article makes it sound like a Trump loyalty issue when it’s not. It’s a Chain of Command issue and she knew what she was doing with that email. And if she didn’t know, it’s a good thing she’s gone because that is some fundamental shit right there. Even the lowliest Private knows better.
Fuck her for trying to out-CIC the ACTUAL CIC.
In the military there’s no such thing as loyalty to a politician, a commander, etc. The system RELIES on the Chain of Command and when that’s broken, it’s chaos.
Unlawful orders excepted of course but those happen almost never.
She’s not dumb. She’s probably a Liberal and setting herself up as part of ‘the resistance’ so that when she ETS’ she can run for office.
Loyalty isn't a government requirement - people can be politically ambivalent and perfect employees with respect for their workplace and management structure. In fact, I fully support anyone who doesn't care about any specific politician and doesn't twist their job duties towards their personal belief structure because that can (and has been) abused by other politicians.
This issue here is a simple matter of poor work ethic. There aren't a lot of workplaces where employees can intentionally undermine management and remain employed to continue trying to sabotage the company. The executive branch, at its core, is run like a company - or should be - which is why it makes sense to me to have businessmen running it instead of lawyers and prosecutors. This person was fired with cause because they don't handle management well and hurt the company, not because of loyalty. We've all worked some place we didn't fit, its better for everyone to move on especially if the fit is so bad workplace sabotage is a problem.

You exposed the root problem with the word, 'she'.
Not that anyone will fix the error.

That's right, their oath is to protect the Constitution, not necessarily a particular politico, commander, etc

Oh I wasn't intending to correct you - just responding with my thoughts as well! Sorry if I made a bad impression it wasn't my intention at all!
