I went to the school district in my area, to a board meeting, and I simply asked if they would mandate cursive writing for all kids in all grades. The entire school board just about blew a gasket because I didn't have a scheduled appointment to speak at the board meeting. They didn't want to hear from a tax payer about an idea to educate the children in a more positive way. They simply said they teach cursive writing in the second grade and that was good enough. Watch who you vote for in any school board elections. See how they stand on any issue you have.
