Like so many acronyms and names they come up with, it's always the opposite.

The ACLU stands for the AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION and they are literally defending FOREIGN TERRORIST GANG MEMBERS who KILL, RAPE, and ROB AMERICANS.
