Yeah. Trump hated Trudeau - rightly as he is a utter POS who spent 9 years shitting on Trump and America and 'the lies misogyny and bigotry and hate blah blah' coming from the US. So it was understandable that Canada was going to suffer for it. But once Carney was dumped in - Trump kept doubling down - and it backfired utterly for Canada. he eventually backed off but it was too late - and the Liberals and even the CBC kept bringing it up non stop to stir people up about it. The fact that the CBC sent an agent to the White House to ask leading questions about the '51st state' shit - and Karoline obliged by repeating the 'Trumps wants Canada as 51st state' crap - that just kept making things worse for Pollieve.
