They were going to cheat anyway. But I think they have fallen into another Trump trap. I think we already own Canada, but Trump wants them to want to be part of the US. And maybe for now we only want the western provinces to join the US. And maybe we look at everything south of the St. Lawrence River.
Regardless of the motivation, if you humiliate a Nation that has been your strongest Ally for Centuries, there is going to be a negative response. Further. many strong & loyal MAGA from North of your border voted Conservative. At this point in time, it is difficult to be Spiritually aligned with MAGA without feeling a sense of betrayal. Time heals all wounds and let's Pray there is a White Hat plan hidden within the Chaos. ( Canada is not a parts car for the USA) If you see it that way, then you are scheming to conquer, not Harmonize with. The Great Awakening has no BORDERS. Canada is a pathetic Country. It has already been captured and I am Canadian. I have seen it. Yes, expect a fair amount of chaos. But I think the Trump team is looking for a Golden Age of Canada as well. Canada can be so much more. I am sensitive that Canadians are proud to be Canadian. I think that will be preserved. You definitely need a new constitution that protects your rights.

I don't think you can just suddenly own canada. Why join the US? They would be fine on their own. We're not talking about quebec here.
Every providence, and the entire region of Canada, has the right to an Article Seven Convention to join the United States. That is how Vermont became a state. Also, the United States holds the right to annex Cuba based on a treaty ending the war with Spain. That could have been why the CIA may have killed JFK. Maybe he was thinking of annexing Cuba in time for the 1964 election.
For sure they have a right, I don't see why they would. They have the resources to survive and thrive on their own. That's interesting about Cuba.

I think we own the entire British Commonwealth except Britain itself. Not exactly sure how the Trump team pulled it off, but I am pretty sure they did. The Philippians model could be in play. We own it and then make it independent with a special relationship. But I think the plan is a bit different.
