Ukraine signs deal to give US access to rare minerals
Why does Trump want Greenland? It's these critical minerals he's after.

These rare Earth minerals are used in a number of products, computer processors, magnets for electric vehicles, electronics, batteries, energy storage.
President Trump wants to bring manufacturing back to the USA. He cannot accomplish this without the raw materials to make these products.
The Complex Reality Behind Rare Earth Mineral Sourcing: Where Do 98% Come From?
https://www.ncesc.com/geographic-faq/where-do-98-of-rare-earth-minerals-come-from/
I have searched for US based mining companies that specialize in rare earth minerals. I assume Trump would push for American mining companies to assist the mining process as the ball starts rolling. I have found 3 US based companies, that is it, "3"!!!
MP Materials / stock symbol MP / stock price $25.01 / up 2.75% yesterday
Energy Fuels / stock symbol UUUU / stock price $4.63 / up 1.76% yesterday
UCore Rare Metals / stock symbol UURAF / stock price $1.42 / up 0.71% yesterday
Now if you look at the top 10 biggest mining companies in North America, they are all up 1-4% yesterday. Two of the top 10 were down and they were Canadian mining companies.
Name / stock symbol / price / stock price increase
Freeport McMoran, FCX, $37.60, ^ 3.27% (copper, gold)
Southern Copper, SCCO, $90.14, ^1.33% (copper, zink, silver)
Newport Corporation, NEM, $51.50, ^0.08% (gold, silver, copper)
Albermarle Corporation, ALB, $60.30, ^1.65% (produce chemicals for refining metals)
Alcoa Corporation, AA, $25.53, ^4.03% (aluminum)
MP Materials / MP / $25.01 / ^2.75% (rare earth minerals)
Peabody Energy, BTU, $12.81, ^3.22% (coal)
Two North American mining companies that were Canadian based:
Hecla Mining Company, HL, $4.54, DOWN 17% (silver)
This next company is American, it has 5 mines in the USA however, they are currently working on a large mining operation in British Columbia.
Coeur Mining INC, CDE, $5.31%, DOWN 1.67% (silver. gold)
I have a feeling the tariffs are causing the price drop on Canadian mining companies and/or any American mining companies with projects in Canada.
I am not going to tell you where to put your money. However, I will be investing in MP and UUUU. (Along with any USA mines digging up gold and silver.) Trump is looking at rare minerals and you should too.
I have a feeling, when the shorting of precious metals comes to an end, silver is allowed to increase in value closer to a 15:1 ratio with gold, these silver mining stocks will skyrocket. Silver mining stocks have been locked/ zero growth. for many years. If silver value increases this will change. There will be a correction.
The gold/silver ratio is calculated by dividing the current market price of gold per ounce by the current price of silver per ounce. It shows how many ounces of silver it takes to purchase one ounce of gold. The historical average gold-silver ratio is roughly 15:1, and the 100-year average is roughly 40:1. Today, the ratio sits around 84:1, meaning gold is 84 times more expensive than silver.
The price of gold is expected to rise in the future. If sliver inches back toward the 15:1 ratio as it chases the price of gold, big money for the silver stackers.
Have a good day!!!
My understanding is that China does not have large reserves of rare earths, but refines the majority of rare earths. Either way, heavy control of the supply chain. Seems like a capability we should foster here in the U.S. While we don’t allow slave labor, seems like a good fit for the treasonous. Give them time to think before they are put to death.
All about the very nasty processing and waste.
But the sourcing makes for good propaganda.
Also, TMRC is still around I believe.
Look at the Pebble mine in Alaska. Northern Dynasty (NAK) is the owner of the mine. It is yuge. Larger than Grasberg in Indonesia. The mine is basically the largest copper mine the world has ever seen and as a bonus it has a billion ounces of gold. There is a PBS feature on YT that highlights some of the pros and cons of the mine and, as usual, it puts a leftist spin in the harm the mine will do not he environment. But the recent Chevron decision makes the EPAs halting of the mine a thing of the past. Trump wants this mine to begin operating because we need copper for all the new building that will be happening in this country. Also take a look at metal shelters and if any new ones will be built in America for this mine to off load ore to. Gotta be able to melt down billions of tons of copper somewhere. Plus NAK is inexpensive. It is currently around $1.06/share. Think about it and do your own research. Lots of upside if Trump can squash the stupid EPA rulings.
I think REEMF has the one US rare earth separator.Their startup is federally funded.Thats my gamble.AKEMF for oil.Although tech may have found better ways to separate ore. Also betting on TMRC for their mine at Roundtop.
We have them in plentiful supply within US borders, but the regulations are beyond stifling in order for those in power to make money from the CCP. It's all that simple.
Silver is also an industrial metal - meaning it gets used up. So theoretically, the gold/silver ratio should decrease over time.
USA has tons of rare earth minerals that we don’t mine for environmental reasons. Also a virtually unlimited supply of earth minerals was found off the coast of Japan a couple years ago. And of course Palestine is probably full of them as well.
