Electricity is how they could charge us for power. It almost single-handedly made us all slaves ( along with usury and taxes )
And before that, they did the same with oil.
Actually, there used to be a private market for electricity, and it was very competitive, before the federal law requiring all electric plants to have a federal license. Without that law, electricity would've provided a big boost to local sovereignty and economic freedom.
