For acid/sour stomach I keep chocolate Hagen daz in the freezer - one tablespoon swings your pH gently and quickly to alkaline. The reason this specific brand is because it's made with minimal crap AND the chocolate is processed with alkali, which does what we need.

Lately, while doing chlorine dioxide, herx reactions have been more prevalent. Typically woken up in the middle of the night with hives, severe itching etc.

I'm gonna get some applesauce and try your suggestion - Thank you!

PSA: If you are experiencing a Herx reaction, DO NOT take a Benadryl!!! It will make it worse!!!
