Federal charges filed by the DOJ completely bypasses the feeble and ineffective local jurisdiction and legal system. The LA federal prosecutor takes his job seriously. So hopefully some action will be taken to rein in the main instigators. We need to take down the organizers and money flow - usually taxpayer money from grants given to NGOs. All roads lead to the CCP and United Work Front foreign operations.
I hear you fren. Reservation always. However, at this moment in time, I think our odds of actually seeing some action is better than it ever has been. I am impressed with the Federal prosecutor in LA. Just because we don't see law enforcement bashing heads with protesters right now does not mean that Trump and company are not working on the situation. I believe they are collecting a massive amount of data from communications etc.. The round up will happen later so it can be more controlled rather than engaging directly with these thugs and have the situation spiral out of control. Besides, arresting a few thugs for throwing rocks is not going to help the problem in the long run. It is the organizers and ring leaders that we need to focus on - including following the money trail that leads to taxpayer funding. That is where the big prizes will be found.
The left would love a confrontation. In fact, they are going to do everything possible to provoke troops and other Federal LE to respond negatively. People are under the impression that the NG is in LA to restore order. Not so. They were sent in to protect Federal property and personnel that were under attack. They will hold a perimeter around Federal property and defend if necessary. Of course the MSM is losing their minds pushing the narrative that the Guard are taking over LA - a militarization of civil authority. Using the military for public law enforcement purposes is a really sticky area. That is the purpose of local LE. I have seen nothing so far that would indicate the guard is engaging in law enforcement activities. So, whatever happens to LA is on LA and CA. They can take full blame for allowing the situation to spiral out of control. Feds just need to stand their ground. Meanwhile, the DOJ and FBI are gathering intel for later use. So, we shall see what happens.
