I think this talking point is designed to intentionally be a bridge too far for normal people to get behind. I would love this to become the law of the land but I don't think it's feasible both from a public support and realistic perspective.
The goal here appears to make the "con inc" solution too radial to create a divide as the DS usually does. We need to focus on a solution that is feasible because I'd rather get 2/3 of the way there, instead of trying to get the whole way, lose, and get nothing for it.
There were effectively calls for this in Canada, and I think that was a part of the successful push back.
I also have a family friend who is an Iranian woman who fled the fall, and her kids didn't turn into liberal fuckwits like too many Canadian's did. So I have a hard time with any call like this that is trying to be black and white.

It looks like Charlie copied Matt's first sentence and then added his take. Then Jack just flat-out copied Charlie altogether.
