The IDF has a hard time sorting out the treacherous from the pathetic and not getting killed in the process. If Hamas had stood down when defeat was obvious, there might be a more orderly situation. As it is, when aid is distributed by Hamas, they charge their own people money to receive it. When the people received food aid for free from the U.S., they were chanting "U.S.A." It is interesting to me as a point of morality and psychology that you seem to have erased the 7 October atrocities from your mental accounts.
