didnt the dems remove executive privilege from former presidents when Trump and his staff tried to invoke it? am just a simple frog that has a hard time grasping these lofty principles
That is the beauty.. they claimed that it did not apply to DJT in the case of whatever they were trying to get him on, now he is providing a Presidential Dispensentation allowing Biden's Aide to Testify like he did for that corrupt lawyer.
It appears that Executive Privilege can be exerted only by a sitting President, not by a former President...and never independently by any former presidential staff member.
Trump’s White House counsel sent a letter to Biden aide Neera Tanden this morning, as she appears before the House Oversight Committee amid a probe into Biden’s mental fitness as president — The letter argues that asserting executive privilege is “not justified” because of the nature of the allegations.
"The President authorizes you to provide unrestricted testimony to the House Oversight Committee, irrespective of potential privilege.”
am confused...

Rules for me but not for thee.
But they would still apply, meaning this isn't correct
Maybe denying Trump set a precedent? Not removed from any unless it’s needed. Spitballing.

I believe You are correct.
Tip of the hat to Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro who went to prison in order that this precedent may be set.
And tip of the hat to the J6ers for the same!
Executive privilege can only invoked when Dems are on the hot seat don't ya know?
By Hot Seat you mean stewing in the Devil's Cauldron?
Beats the boiling shit one
If Progressive Democrats did not have double standards, they would have no standards at all.
False hope?
