Prenups kind of solve the mugging problem while keeping the family values marriage. But by that same token and for the sake of fairness: Child care, cooking and housekeeping should also be accounted somehow for in the prenup.....There is probably already a smart contract that does this!

My wife had this problem but a full hysterectomy fixed it. Ovarian cysts fucked up her hormones and transformed her into demon that alternated between screaming and then sobbing "I don't know what's wrong with me!"
It was horrific at the time and the solution was equally horrific (6 months to recover from having her innards ripped out and then pains for another 4 years) but the end result was worth it.
I'm a "Xennial." I think we might be the last generation to be successful in marriage. All of my friends who got married in their twenties are still married, and so am I. If I were a young guy right now, no way in hell I'd get married. Young women today are either mentally deranged or whores or both. There's no reason to attach yourself to that.
This article is very biased IMO, and it does not tackle all of the issues within our society regarding marriage and the nuclear family and child raising. There are obvious issues on both men and women's behalves, as well as with the legal systems, that make it unfair for a nuclear family to succeed. Societal standards need to change in order for the nuclear family to be successful and valued again, and society's attitudes towards children need to change on various levels. I believe we are in the beginnings of this occurring, and one day in the near future, families will be great again. There are so many aspects to address though-- economics, health, education, the legal system, childcare, values, etc., etc. If anyone can fix this, I think it will be Trump and the MAGA/MAHA movement, but we all need to have a fair conversation about it too.
