A LOT of motels and hotels are being owned by Indians now.
Even in a highway offramp "city" in the middle of nowhere, Nebraska, I had to stay at a known hotel chain, but owner was obviously Indian, and had their young daughter Manning the front desk at night. Cheap shit all around, owner clearly a cheap ass and quality of the freshly renovated hotel showed it.
Ugh. This dystopia is worse than anything predicted in movies about "the future"
Pfft...Oh you mean like that bullshit Whole Foods tried to pull with the whole "Just Walk Out" "technology" that was discovered to be 1,000 pajeets at terminals with ZERO actual AI anything... You mean, like that?
Nothing like getting an inaudable "phuck you Whitey" right before you give them money...
People were totally fine with McDonald's doing away with in person ordering and forcing you to place your own order on a giant touch screen, so why are people crying about this?
Usually I want to deal with a real person when it comes to hotels and having my stay go smoothly....
I have enough issues with hotels and check in and wrong room type, just dealing with locals, having to do it with some Pajeet across the world will be a NIGHTMARE.
Ordering fries with a burger is one thing, having the SERVICE INDUSTRY move to this shit is another thing...
It's simple. We don't want off shore foreigners being paid by corporations on American land.
The ONLY reason that you outsource labor/resource production to a company external to the USA is because you are greedy, want to maximize your profit, and have your org exist off the back of slave labor level wages.
How much do you think the indian guy in this video is being paid to do that job?
You think he's running money scams on old women on his other screen in between hotel tenants requiring his attention?
An employee pushes the button with a picture of a Big Mac
A trained monkey can do that- a trained monkey cannot handle the intricacies of hotel demands by guests- your comparison is apples to oranges- Yes, many industries will automate AS THEY ALWAYS HAVE. Certain industries cannot work without human-Human interactions
I would have slept in my car.
Stop supporting those business and it will stop.
Honestly I may prefer that to live and in person foreigners at the front desk.
I was thinking the same thing.
As long as they don't speak fluent gibberish like here in the states...

I would have walked right out.

I don't have the $42.50...How about $2 and a Casio?
Continue voting with your dollar, Anons. The war against us continues...

Does it tell time, simultaneously in Staad?
That's right... I forgot.

Two Wrights make an airplane

How is this AI?
That's not very make America great of them.

Next there will be AI room service, AI concierge, AI valet...

Were we?
WERE WE?
A hotel room vs a burger NOT the same
LOL I guess you don't get the point. Automation self-service vs talking to a real in person rep. Fast food or hotel.
Not a good development. What happens if an emergency occurs (fire, murder, windstorm) and the relevant services need to be summoned, or received?
Or power goes out, or.....
Or the video and audio feed fails...
