Tragic but a reminder that this problem has been going on for decades. I can safely say we probably have a personnel story to share. My front bumper was hit by an illegal who stopped at a stop sign but was too far out but decided to backup without looking behind him. Mind you I was half a car length behind him and not right on top of him.
They don't know how to drive and we hand them the trucks.
My wife was broadsided by an illegal that ran a stop sign going 50 mph. Luckily it hit the rear door (drivers side) and spun her car. Had he hit her driver's door straight on I hate to think of what might have happened to her.
that occurrence was bizarre. I saw the cab video and some clips of afterwards. The passenger seemed in another world, and the driver seemed to be completely emotionless and had zero reaction of any kind. A normal driver would have had more reaction from a flat tire.
And why was he trying to do a U-turn? Did they say? Was this intentional murder? Or was he THAT incompetent? Isn't this a Sikh?
Maybe there was a checkpoint; many people make U's to avoid police or inspection checkpoints.
They do that shit in their countries all the time. Also nobody wants to say this but the people could have saved their own lives if they were paying attention to the road themselves. Their driver didn't even try to brake until two car lengths away, and the truck started turning they were 15+ car lengths back. More than enough time to brake and drive into the right side ditch if needed. Unfortunate for the other two in the vehicle though.
