you might want to make a post on this. It looks like you're either being completely misunderstood, or completely wrong. I see your points though.. I hesitate to agree but admit I don't know of any immediate alternatives
I've been a Life Member for maybe 40 years and I have been close to the 2nd Amendment all the while. I don't support unworthy organizations, and I don't stay silent when people are unrighteously talking trash about anyone. The NRA may not be the most perfect lobbying organization, but they are also engaged in programs to promote and perpetuate the firearm-owning traditions in America, to keep the issue alive in American hearts generation after generation. The other political groups have no time for this; they leave it to the NRA. There was a time when the NRA was the only shield. If it hadn't been there, we would have been like the UK: defanged.
on this I can guiltlessly relent my criticisms.
I just hope it can get back to the core mission
Become a member and weigh in. The new Exec Director is all about transparent communication with the membership. The NRA-ILA has many irons in the fire. The Board of Directors has been almost entirely changed out (but there had always been a lot of rotation) and one can communicate with any of them to raise a concern. Lots of organizational and operational lessons being learned and changes being made in the wake of Wayne LaPierre. The 2nd Amendment is always front and center.
After your comments I think I will. Thank you
