Here's my problem with this. I've known a few people that have had jobs at the White House. Everyone that was on the job was vetted/back ground checked.
It's a huge contract, a big deal, prestigious, etc. Contractors would bring their best people, and I can't see any contractor ending up with a gig at the White House not being more upfront about an incident.
Other than to bring to light the fact the grounds are being video monitored, which I'd suspect most would be aware, I'm not sure what the point would be.
It certainly could just be an oopsy incident, but seems bizarre to me.
That’s right, but that contractor will never find another contract because President will make sure to say his or their names everywhere and I know we will find out who are the perpetrators.
Exactly .i watched several times ,, that video looked like a bunch of homelesss thieves stealing something , the same look that goes on in alleys in San Diego ,, maybe outside a Pizza Hut you would see this scenario, but not the White House , come on … no way they were actual workers Hillarious !
And here I am running my business being OCD about it, going above and beyond when not required to, just because I love my clients and truly helping people. There really is a fine line in the industry between those who have good hearts and those who put money first. The last thing I want is to give anyone stress, we have way too much of that going on in our lives.

Citizenry is different today. The United States has a serious labor and material issue. This is the labor issue.
Psst ... you working on that White House project?
I'll give you $10,000 ... cash ... if you screw some things up.
If you get fired, I'll hook you up with another job.
Comprende?

Yeah... sure...
Not.
Again, no one on that job got onto White House grounds w/o a thorough background check. The only way that scenario happened is if it was scripted.
We're watching a movie, it's a plot point. To what end I have no idea.

Kind of LAZY really. You got a TOP CLIENT put plywood over the stone at least for general safety of the stone.
Second the Limestone probably is ONLY thick enough for foot traffic not 1K pounds
Some companies would bring in subcontractors.
