It sure would be cool if the purpose of collecting the DNA of every human on earth were not actually to create specific pathogens coded to our individual DNA, to kill any or every one of us at will, whenever they wish.
I'm afraid the Chinese have probably already done that. Rather than making a virus that will kill certain people, wouldn't it be easier to make a virus that would kill EVERYONE EXCEPT those with certain genetic markers, especially when that genetic marker is likely VERY distinct among people on Earth?
