I wonder, why would we be putting Americans back in Afghanistan?
I think he had said something about its proximity to China and being an hour away from where China makes its nuclear weapons. I kind of wish he would not have said that part out loud.
That was on purpose I think because he wants to use that as leverage against the Chinese.
The push to have Bagram AFB returned means another layer to put pressure on China and Russia I believe.
Okay, that makes sense.
And iran
And Syria. US wants to send back Syrians that have been here in the US since the Syrian civil war broke out.
Why cant the Chinese say: "We're forced to hold this base. Its 1hr from our nukes."
The arguement works both ways...
