Most of it has some kernel of truth. But much of it is studiously edited to insert a plethora of Bullshit in the wake of WW2.
Largely focused on suppressing various fields, supporting current Western moral, religious, and philosophical beliefs, and forcing objective medical and scientific reality to suit said beliefs. And yes that includes beliefs people on both sides of the aisle are ultimately deathly attached to.
There are some fields of study that haven’t been seriously pursued by people on either side of the aisle. Ultimately because people are afraid of what the results might be. And what that could mean for the philosophical and political ideologies and ideas we’ve built up around ourselves and our society.
It’s a bit of a Pandora’s box we’ve gotten ourselves into. As we are decades behind philosophically, morally, and spiritually. Because we’ve sat cowering in fear of anything Medical or Scientific that might contradict or force us to modify and reevaluate the post WW2/Civil Rights consensus. Yet our technology now we’ve only just begun experimenting with is opening a world of other medical and scientific possibilities and applications.
Huberman related this story in an April 2023 podcast with Rick Rubin and Jack Kruse. Eddie Chang was the friend who said books are 50% wrong and Jack said more like 99.9% wrong. About 1-1.5 hours in.
Guess what, after the last one, I definitely stopped going to them, they freaked me out, they are serpents with white coats. They never have done anything for me so I am curing myself along with a holistic person.
I figured this out quite a while ago. It is obvious. We "pretend" we know far more than we actually know. We only know enough to get ourselves into trouble, frankly. We are quite stupid about so much, and instead of humbly pursuing greater knowledge, the entire scientific and medical community is trying to suck like leeches off the profitable chronic diseases of the public. They have to continue their charade of pretending they know what they do not know. It's also a power trip for them.
I say it's close to 90% false, because it's all based on MATERIALISM.
The material/physical reality is the RESULT of the non-material, or metaphysical which is "first cause". Thus, it is our thoughts-feelings-beliefs which are the cause of all dis-ease.
The 10% that is correct is life-saving, emergency, trauma-based information.
He has repeated this statement a few different high profile places including Bill Maher's show. The supplied reason for so much inaccuracy is that medicine is moving so quickly in some fields that textbook publishers simply can't (or don't bother) to keep up.
This is deeply concerning if it's true. But more importantly, if this statement is indeed true, we need to determine a way that we can contribute to fixing a problem that very well may result in the death of someone we love or ourselves.
I think this subject deserves a lot of research by the GAW community if Eddie Chang is correct.
Well if you look at how poorly medicine does at actually curing anything that needs more than anti biotics it becomes obvious. Lets get this type of info viral. Doctors arent geniuses amd the way they dumbed down entry to the field we dont have even average intelligence people doing the job. Dei

Then there is the stuff that is banned, because there is no money in it.

Thank you for this and God bless you.
Always select old doctors. They know what works and doesn’t. Also, they’ve managed to survive a grueling profession.
Guess what, after the last one, I definitely stopped going to them, they freaked me out, they are serpents with white coats. They never have done anything for me so I am curing myself along with a holistic person.
Oh how things go full circle. Herbs were deemed sorcery and witch craft, medicine was the only way. And now medicine is the new witchcraft.

Wrong, but profitable.
Yep
The account that posted this is not Joe Rogan's account, it's a fan run "commentary" account.
I dug for some additional context and detail. Huberman is referring to a neuroscientist named Eddie Chang.
