I keep hearing from Trump's administration that "everything is historic" but this year, food, rent, and gas has all gone up. My roommate (mom) is depressed and losing hope. To be short, we both share an apartment. I've been losing hope. I cannot find and stable jobs, nor can she, and the cost of living could literally put us out of this place. We've been praying to God to protect Trump so he could make america great and affordable again. Does anyone here have any solutions on how to survive in this damn economy?

I feel you there. My wife said only a couple of items went down on groceries. Our electric bill is getting higher and high, food has not gone down. I keep also hearing HISTORICAL LOWS!!! Bullshit. The average american is still struggling. I can have patience on arrests and stuff but this pricing is out of control.
Even our gas hasn't come down - it did at first but then it popped right back up to Biden-era prices. I don't understand it. Our eggs are lower but not pre-Biden low.
Realistically, it would probably take decades to reverse the damage the Democrats have caused. Deporting 20 million people would go a long way in reducing demand for goods and allowing prices to stabilize
As unpopular as his later actions were, Hitler turned their economy around in record time by outlawing usury. It can be done.
I have been working to wake up others close to me about thus specific issue.
"How would investors make money on loans?"
A - There would be no more investment in personal property loans, which does lock out a significant portion (likely large/super majority) of buyers.
B - Fees are perfectly acceptable. You recognize that for borrowing 100k you will repay $150k within x amount of time, the fee being the $50k or the personal property goes to the lender.
The lender in scenario B sets that fee based on anything they want. Lenders generally will be competitive & will likely lower fees based on promised pay off dates, other investment opportunities, and whatever inflation is expected to do over that time set to pay off the asset.
What most people do not realize is that interest is compounded at almost every single step.
Interest just needs to stop, or at the very least we need to participate in a Jubilee every 40 years (20 would be better).
Have you considered that maybe Unc was a one in a million talent? Lol
He said he’d have electric bills down by 50%.
When does that happen?
Yeah, not gonna happen. Maybe at the raw level but once it gets to the consumer energy companies aren’t going to chop prices in half. They have employees and regulation fees and pensions to fund. The current prices are here to stay.
You can’t go to a business and say, “listen do it for the common good, just reduce your prices.” The economy doesn’t work that way.
