Can we do the same thing for gardening rigs? Most all of my competition are non-English speaking Mexicans. I don't even know how they communicate with their own customers.
The foreman of the crew likely speaks English. The crew that installed my flooring only had 1 that was fluent in English and he was the one who talked to me.
None of them pay taxes or have insurance or any of the other expenses associated with owning a business.
My tile guy is from Mexico and he came here 10 years ago, got his citizenship and started a legit business eventually. Now he’s even complaining about the illegals because they underbid him every time.
Why is it that the states that seem to have the most going for them in terms of politics and social issues, are the last places I would want to live because of factors like weather/climate, or just plain boring geography? :)
I think that since the "blue" concentrations are fairly limited means that there would likely never really be a civil war, other than in those "blue" areas. I think that once Mamdani ruins what's left of NYC, it will be a big wake up call, and the people who still support Democrats nationwide will be down to a trickle. I think in about two years there will be a mass exodus of middle and upper class people from NYC, leaving it a wasteland of welfare slaves and criminals. They'll try to get a Federal bailout, which I hope will be refused. (unless, of course, they manage to get President and Congress back; which seems very unlikely)
