I am going to re-paste this here, as a reminder to put your faith in Christ, because it's relevant. Be strong and assured in faith.

This angle can help you walk through the valley of the shadow of death and not fear, because you can know that when you die (as we all will) with faith in Christ, you will instantly be with him. You will need to know this for these times so you can fight this spiritual battle as spiritually strong as you can be:

For the one who has died in Christ, there is no waiting room, no purgatorial delay. The promise is instant.

Paul made this clear in Philippians 1:21-23, where he said:

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

He made it clear he was torn between his duty to preach, and his deep desire to be with his Lord, stating plainly. He did not say "to depart and to sleep," or "to depart and to wait", but "to depart and to be with Christ." It is the hope of every believer: immediate presence with our Savior upon death.

Jesus Christ himself also affirmed this when he was on the cross. in Luke 23:39-43, where it's said:

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.” But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

To the faithful thief Jesus didn't say, "Today you will enter a soul sleep," or "Today you will await judgment." He proclaimed the glorious, immediate promise: "today you will be with Me in Paradise." That very day. That very hour.

Jesus forewarned around 2,000 years ago that his followers would be killed and persecuted.

I didn't think Mormons followed Jesus as Christians do.....

I used to think that about the freedom of religion. But with the Muslims acting like they own the country, I've changed my mind. America is not, has never been nor will it ever be a Muslim country unless we do like the Europeans and act "nice" instead of protect our culture, values and Judeo-Christian religious heritage. When people come here from another country they must assimilate or go elsewhere. If you come to this country with a plan and intent to destroy our foundational values and replace it with Sharia law, then you are not assimilating. You are conspiring to undermine and overthrow the United States and replace it's Constitution. Sharia is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution.
