Look at the netflix price today, it's $1000 a share above what it was just six months ago. It dropped SLIGHTLY, but then bounced back. Go look for yourself.
Netflix like many other entities are too big to cancel.
If account sharing drama didn't cancel them
If price hikes in third world countries didn't cancel them
If losing God awful "The Office" didn't cancel them
if even normies freaking out about "Cuties" didn't cancel them
Nothing will
I'd just like them to be $10 a month again. But that was back before they considered themselves a content farm.
Besides the woke shit. Netflix sucks cause it takes them FOREVER to make a new season of a good tv show. And then they cancel good shows for no reason.
Man, I tried so hard to get into that show, but it just kept falling flat for me. I appreciate the memes and all, but “god awful” is exactly how I felt about it, lol.
I've never watched "The Office", even when I lived in the UK. But I'm assured by Brits who have see both that the UK version is 100 times better than the US version.
TBF, the res and device/IP restrictions, and tier, and limited content, all combined with rate increases, also contributed a lot. I'm off it, for now and it's nothing to do with woke crap (though that is part of why I lack Disney+). It's just too expensive for what's on there. When Lincoln Lawyer drops, I'll activate it for a month or two, watch that, the 2nd season of Wednesday, and some other exclusives, then deactivate it again.
Acorn, Brit Box, and now Howdy, are offering quite a lot of entertainment value per dollar, with Paramount+ being just a bit behind, IMO. As everybody pulled their stuff from Netflix into their own walled gardens, Netflix's value proposition has fallen off a cliff.
This is dumb. They're taking selective snapshots.

The impression and feeling of "winning" is much more important than pesky little things like facts.
People have been gloating over the "imminent demise" of Netflix (and pretty much every other liberal leaning outlet) for almost a decade now.
Doesn't seem to ever actually happen, though. 🤷♀️
But hey, it makes people feel better when they read shit like this, so who cares about the truth, right? 🙄

You don't like Ricky Gervaise?
Nah I was talking about the Steve Carell one. Never watched the Brit version either.
I mostly just like Ricky for his stand up comedy and blistering takedowns at the golden globes

can it completely crash and bankrupt though? cos stocks go up and down..
We should do the same to the NFL and their Half-Time pick.
And may they lose 15 Billion more!
Bankrupt that state-sponsored propaganda toilet
That’s a shame.
FAFO
