How.
I'm 50 and haven't heard shit from him
Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
7 The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
8 Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
1 God is our refuge and strength, a verie present helpe in trouble—
or at least a spare loaf when the oven faileth.
2 Therefore will we not feare, though the earth be remoued,
and though the mountaines fall into the middest of the sea with the sloth of oxen in mire.
3 Though the waters thereof roare and be troubled,
and the mountaines shake with the swelling thereof—perchance from a surfeit of wine—
4 there is a riuer, the streames whereof shall make glad the citie of God,
the holie place of the tabernacles of the most High, though it runneth but tepid and scant.
5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moued:
God shall helpe her at the break of day, with a sigh and a shrug.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdomes were moued:
he uttered his voice, the earth melted like tallow before the hearth.
The Lord of hosts is with vs; the God of Iacob is our refuge—
or at the least a stoute ox-stall.
8 Come, behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations hee hath made in the earth:
hee breaketh the bow, and cutteth the speare in sunder, burneth the chariot in the fire—
9 euen as a thriftie housewife mendeth her pots.
He maketh warres to cease vnto the end of the earth:
he breaketh the bow, and knappeth the speare, burneth the chariot in the fire,
reducing all to a meere tally of sheep and shekels.
10 Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth—
albeit the throne be dusty and the scribes euer tardie.
Read the Bible. These are His words as He inspired other men to write it.
I believe God knows His own and when they recognize His presence with them.
Resonate with unconditional love.

I don't think that anyone is born believing in Jesus and for the most part, the church offers a poor representation of what God wanted for us. You've been hanging out with the rest of us in this pond for 5 years now. You know that none of us are trying to sell you anything. Maybe, just maybe, God is talking to you and you're just not listening. I can be a real prick so I find it hard to believe that God would rather talk to me than you.
