You don't have to take enough to alter your subconscious at all -- micro dosing has been a thing for quite a while, you don't get 'high' like you would on a Friday night with those same mushrooms in bigger doses. Also have to remember that natural psychedelics are a completely different animal than synthetic ones. Mushrooms and acid, for example; can be quite similar in effects yet the mushrooms grow in the ground and the acid is 100% synthetic chemicals like brake cleaner and strict 9 and a lot of chemicals in acid can stay in your system forever and collect in your spine ( nervous system CPU )
In actually, you'll be opening your subconscious, but that's another ball game all together.
And don't take me wrong; I fully believe and stand by the fact that not everything is for everyone and not everything works for everyone.
LSD occurs naturally..... Mushroom micro dosing has helped me in incredible ways. I haven't been doing it for years. I'd really like to get back to it. During the few months that I practiced it, several people that know me well said some very complimentary things to me about my attitude / outlook. I personally noticed that it was much harder to become angry, which is a thing I have to constantly try to be aware of.
Not true. LSD is derived from ergot, a naturally occurring fungus. The first psychedelic use of LSD was accidental, when about a century ago during a village celebration in Europe a bunch of people ate bread with the ergot fungus. The laboratory isolation of the active compounds makes LSD semi-synthetic.
All a reasonable person would ask is that you allow other people to seek mental, emotional, and spiritual fulfillment in the way they see fit, so long as they don't cause real problems for others (lying, cheating, stealing, being a nuisance and causing public disturbances, violence, etc).
I also agree there is a lot of new age spiritualist woo woo nonsense surrounding it that has done damage to the advocacy movement.

PTSD, and also things like depression as well. They can also help recalibrate your mind's reward systems and help break addictive behaviors and tendencies too. They helped me not only quit opiates, but re-evaluate and deprogram myself from the tendencies towards escapism and self-destruction that made me turn to them in the first place. I believe there is immense potential to help many more like me. That is why I advocate so vehemently against prohibition.
Also Alzheimer’s. It’s amazing what mushrooms do for people with Alzheimer’s. It gives them an entirely new lease on life. It doesn’t cure the disease, but it takes away the depression and the anxiety and the sadness.
After partaking in both weed and shrooms at reasonable doses, I find shrooms to be much more tolerable at a lower dose. It is a similar feeling but I was far more clear headed after taking the shrooms than something like a marijuana edible
The single biggest rule of pharmacology and drugs in general is that different substances affect different people differently. There is a range of effects they can have, but everyone's body still reacts a little differently.
I am 12 years clean on opiates, almost ruined my life over them because I loved them too much. Psychedelics helped me quit. Never had a taste for hardcore stimulants though. Tried a couple many years ago in my wild phase but I never got hooked because I much preferred to be knocked out by downers rather than strung out on uppers.
Agreed. It opens up the mind/soul to peer and interact beyond the veil that the Almighty placed between our worlds. God also warned us not to go there. Why? Because we are simply not prepared to interact with that reality and the consequences are heavy. It gives the other side's entities permission to enter into this world using psychedelics as a conduit. Human possession is a real thing and we are starting to see the evidence on our own streets. It has been a regular thing in other places where there is godlessness. We in the West are unprepared for what has been currently taking place because some of this evil is being perpetrated by non human entities. The battle in the heavenly realm is manifesting here in the physical world. My spiritual awakening relies on God.

Your own agency and free will do not go away in altered states of consciousness.
Demons rely on contracts and temptations to sway you. If you're right with the universe and with God, they will never have any sway over you no matter what state of mind you are in.

Have you seen The Exorcist movie - the first one? Did you know that the book it was based on used real case studies? I’m smart enough to know that I’m ignorant of a whole lot of things, especially when it comes to the spiritual realm. I do know that demons exist and satan is real and when it comes to dabbling in that region, I have no footing.
These entities are master liars and very subtle. They do not rely on "contracts." Passive agreement through participation is all that is necessary. They also want to cross through the veil between our worlds.
As followers of God, we are forbidden to delve into "pharmakia" to "communicate" with the spirit world. This is true in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Why? Because it touches a spiritual reality domain that is not ours - our domain is the physical realm. Our spiritual connection is exclusive only to God. And yes, for thousands of years people have been using these compounds to reach the other side, but that does not make it okay. It opens a door that is difficult to close. Some people are stronger minded, but it is not a guarantee. I will stay with the rules God put before us for our own safety. I have personally witnessed enough hell in people's lives that thought they could safely play with the spirit world. No thanks.

Our country started going bonkers with violence in the streets back in the sixties - think LSD and other psychoactive compounds. The insanity has only gotten worse. Evil has been unleashed. I like RFK, but promoting psychedelics is a big mistake. But then again, it may all be part of God's end time plan to bring about the return of Messiah and bring redemption to the world.
