What is a religion, then?
It became about the "rules" rather than the worship of the true God. The True God chastised them many times for their idolizing false gods and their false sacrifices, although He had greatly blessed them. Yet they fell away from him time and again.
Then there was the New Covenant which replaced the old covenant.
In any case, the modern secular nation of Israel has nothing to do with the original "chosen people." Many of them are even atheists!

That would be a great start but people need to understand that when you become a Muslim, you are immediately under sharia law - for the rest of your life. Although they publicly state that they follow the laws of the country that they reside in, it isn't true - not if they go against sharia laws. Wherever there is a mosque, there is sharia court. There are citizens of the U.S. currently under sharia law who don't want to be, so please, please tell your friends and families to fully educate themselves in this religion before submitting to it. All of this is in their book and hadiths.

There are American born citizens who have been born to Muslim parents, who are also citizens. They can practice under their own roof, privately, just as Jews do who keep a kosher house, and have their sabbath beginning on Friday night. I was raised RC, no meat on Friday! Lent must be observed! No breakfast on Sunday morning until the Eucharist! Most religions have rules that are free to practice in your own home, that is the American way. It's when the civil and criminal law gets surpassed by a religion that is intolerant. For the poor souls who have been born to a Muslim mother and father, the law of the land must protect them and enable them to leave that religion safely. Indoctrination to a religion while incarcetated by the State happens freely, many men who have served time were converted to Islam, and on the surface, it seemed like something good. They shunned their criminal life and gave up drugs and drinking, as in the case of Malcom X. The devil that rules Islam is a deceiver, seemingly a good conversion, seemingly a reform. Get the Imams out of prison. Prisons are run by either the state or the federal government, the conondrum lies in the fact that due to separation of state vs religion, they are allowed to spread within. Jesus Christ wants us to visit the prisoner also, to bring him or her to salvation, if the USA declares itself as a Christian Nation, that allows freedom of religion, we could stop the infiltration of Islam into our state and federal institutions, and still allow people to practice in their own homes, as long as it is not criminal. If a sharia court within a community declares any verdicts of guilty or not guilty, the USA law needs to interfere immediatly, to protect or persecute any citizen. It's why we dont burn women convicted of witchcraft anymore, because so many were hung and burned on the conviction based on gossip. Herbal healing and gardening according to lunar cycles were once thought of as suspect.

Cool but how would one determine if a person is an adherent to sharia? Like here fill out this form - are you a sharia law adherent? check yes or no. Or do we wait for actions from them that suggest they are sharia? I'm all for this bill but it seems like it's for show and not actually enforceable (or passible)
