Ghost voters, why not ghost children. Since schools get paid by the child-day, I would be surprised if more democrat run school systems didn’t pad their child numbers.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say a good portion of that laundered money is going straight to the DNC via the teachers union for use in stealing elections.
My mother used to get the NEA and Teacher's Unions publications when she was in the education system (not her choice, it was sent to her because she was employed in "education"). We called them the DNC newsletters when they arrived in the mail because that's effectively all they were.
I live in another state, but five or six years ago, I pulled a kid out of his senior year to homeschool him. At the end of the year when we requested his transcript, we discovered he had been kept on the rolls all year.

That sounds like a low number. I went to a BOE meeting where they mentioned a number in the billions when talking about budget. Blown away. WTF happens to all of the money. It sure as shit isn’t going to the schools.

I found out the hard way that what I was taught over an 8 hour period I can teach my son in an 2 hours or less a day and he thrives!
School buses have tinted windows these days. You can look closely and see they transport nobody. The kids all get picked up by mommies on welfare in sign and drive cars. Nobody works.
Take this same scam and apply it at the Federal Government level where you have "Ghost Agencies" and entire "Ghost Departments" that are funded as if they are massive organizations with big names, but have very few actual employees who don't really do anything but dole out money to the cause.
For Trump to be able to come in and just wipe the slate clean is amazing. I remember the USAID reactions to DOGE and it makes me think of these scams.
Makes me think of the "what did you do last week" email that they raged about because they couldn't honestly answer it. And how anyone who didn't respond was fired. That was shaking out those Ghost employees for sure.
