Me thinks Jeffries and Schumer couldn’t figure out how to play Both sides of the Coin … Get a Win with the people by Being Party to Fixing Healthcare AND Get a Win with their Handlers, screwing up their AGENDA, by Being Party to Fixing Healthcare …
Yeah, the democrats want to fix it only because it's really starting to reflect negatively on them heading into midterms. Obamacare is working as they intended so they don't really want to 'fix' it. Now they're worried about Trump and republicans getting credit for cleaning up their mess before midterms.
Routine medicine should have nothing to do with insurance, and should all be paid for out of pocket to force competition. This is all stuff everyone is going to do anyway, there is zero point in adding a middleman to this, it just makes everything more expensive.
Insurance should be catastrophic coverage only, which would dramatically lower the costs.
The US needs to stop being forced to subsidize healthcare of other countries. Having us pay more for the same drugs in insane. US paying for the defense of all our allies, is insane. They either need to defend themselves, or pay for our defense of them.
The insane levels of fraud we see with medicare/medicade should not be possible. This needs reform, oversight, and accountability.
It needs to be illegal for big pharma to bribe doctors. Paying them off to get them to push their products on patients is evil.
No more revolving door for big pharma and those who regulate big pharma
Big pharma should not be funding their regulators
Scientific studies need to be performed by impartial 3rd parties, and should be required to publish, not just publish if the company liked the result they got.
People start taking care of their own health, with proper diet and exercise. Anyone obviously ignoring this (BMI score) pays a premium for catastrophic insurance. Responsible people shouldn't pay more because of irresponsible people. A huge percentage of health problems are totally preventable.
Look hard at holistic/natural/noninvasive remedies.
Anyone making false claims about medical science needs to go to prison for fraud.
I'd prefer it if there were no parties at all after this. There should be no slush fund for candidates to draw on if they kiss a party's ring, and no series of lobbyists/think tanks gumming up the works.
While this sounds nice, I don't want Trump to go down the healthcare boondoggle again unless he is 100% on a plan. The reality now is the same as last time, there's no Republican consensus on a replacement that will pass. The replacement last time barely passed the House and was never voted on in the Senate, because it was Obamacare lite and somehow even more expensive.
Obamacare is bad, but to fix this you'll have to fix what caused it...insurance companies. They deny coverage to over half of people who try to buy something outside of their job. Forget about it if you have a pre existing condition. A public option sounds nice in theory, but in practice it's another way for insurance companies to extort subsidies so it fixes nothing.
Healthcare insurance has an almost insane profit motive compared to other industries.
I don’t want to have healthcare anymore. The hospitals and doctors have been screwing us up for centuries, the insurance companies are the worst, I do not plan to go to a hospital or a doctor in long long time.

Well yeah, they don't want to fix healthcare-they want to keep it fixed.
I think this would be a good start:
Great comment.
I would add:

Real-time destruction of the old guard and of the Democrat party, occurring right in front of us!
What a time to be alive.

Isn’t Obama getting “royalties” from OBAMACARE? $500 million?
Trump is, or seems to be, playing chess when everyone is playing checkers! He has the 40,000 foot view and keeps that level.
Welcome to the party
Thanks.
