problem is that this means those protesting the vietnam war, Iraq war, etc could have all been hanged or put in military prison for a long time. I of course agree that these actions by certain of those in congress are traitorous, but don't know if this law can be applied so black and white
The right to protest is protected by the constitution through the first amendment. I am pretty sure there were some people protesting the Civil War.
Rush used to relate that during the war for independence 1/3 were for it, 1/3 were against it, and 1/3 didn't care either way. So, it's like every club I've ever belonged to, the same 8 people get everything done, the rest just coast.

Protesting is protected. Interfering physically, or attempting to subvert the chain of command is not.
I didn't say protesting in order to subvert the chain of command. I was talking about the legal way of removing the government. It is through your vote on election day. I never take part in protests and even try to shoot or otherwise harm the President of the United States other than at the ballot box.

The general population can protest because of the 1st Amendment, but the jaspers that made the propaganda video are Federal workers and fall under Federal laws! I wouldn't have followed any order those jaspers spewed out. IMHO, they are a disgrace and show no loyalty to our Commander and Chief, or to the Military service they served in! I'm glad I spent an honorable 20 years in the Military!

It's not the protest that is the problem. If however, they were actively interfering with military operations, giving away secrets or troop movements, or in any way attempting to hamper or actively interfere with orders, that is where the problem would lie
