All four of my grandparents migrated from Poland just prior to WWI. They had to have sponsors and show that they were not a burden on American society. They raised 8 children through working hard jobs and saving all they could, and this second generation fought in WWII and remained productive, taxpaying citizens all their lives, raising a number of children who became doctors, lawyers, engineers and entrepreneurial businessmen and women.
That is the strength of diversity, not the grifters and illegals we've flooded the country with since Sen. Ted Kennedy opened the spigots to the third world.
