Yeah... I will believe it when I see it. An indicator that this is hopium, the premise is based on tariffs, when it should be based on the fact that income tax is unconstitutional.
Normies are getting tired of the maybe sorta kinda (obviously comms and will probably happen, but takes forever) promises and being told how good the economy is and how you might maybe get a $5,000 DOGE check and a $2,000 rebate check but not really but surely shit. I think this would work far better if it all just happened out of the blue and not mentioned.
Congress has the Constitutional authority to tax.
The only thing that might be unConstitutional about the 16th Amendment is the very questionable way it was ratified.
Yes but this is somewhat akin to saying the only thing wrong with these beautiful, perfect, handmade shoes is that they are three sizes too small.
The illegal ratification makes the amendment null and void, for Step 1. Then, besides that, money earned from labor is not "income" in the way the Founders envisioned; you traded hours of your life for that money; it was a fair exchange; you didn't profit. So no taxable income there.

But if this is correct there won't be any "We're reducing Income Tax", the statement will be "It's invalid" or "It's not invalid".

A couple weeks back we were supposed to be getting $2000 each. Then it was announced that won’t happen until 2026. If Trump manages to end income tax, it’ll happen in 2027 and in 2029 we will have a new president that will implement it again!

But that's the issue anyway, isn't it? It's not like income tax being ended in 2025 vs 2026 0r 2027 or 2028 will save it from the next president reinstating it. It's not like if it's a law for a couple more years will make it irrevocable.
