The reality is, none of this is unexpected. Infact this is the corner stone of Trump's plan to free America from the British Banksters, while also freeing the world from a weaponised USD.

The reason why it feels this way is because we have been used to a zero sum world, where if something needs to be durable, other competing things need to be destroyed instead.
Consider that in this new US$ stablecoin system, the US debt is not simply "printed fiat money" but backed by assets. Its no longer a weapon against the world and the people who hold this debt are those who believe in US ability to convert its assets into greater value.
But the same thing will hold good for every country whose currency is also built the same way: National debt, backed by assets, available on blockchain.
