I agree, but I’m also keeping the 72 hour rule in mind on stuff like this. Having these people “win” is likely a stage setting maneuver. We all know 2020 was the main honeypot, but I assume everything afterwards could also be one as well. I can’t guarantee anything, but I’m noticing a pattern. It’s the highly populated urban areas that, pretty much every time, “vote” the most communistic, progressive candidates in. This could serve two purposes: one as a lesson to everyone outside these areas that these policies do not work and that every politician (UNIPARTY) is against us, and two, a way to further prove fraud. By letting them “win” RIGHT NOW, they will absolutely lose majorly later on. All it takes is a bit of patience and we will be vindicated when this is all over. Just my opinion.
I wouldn't worry about it. Miami is.....weird. Like, I'm CERTAIN there's cheating involved (there always is with large cities), but even WITH the cheating Miami has been weird for decades with bizarre voting patterns. They used to vote VERY left in every statewide and national election for decades while the county itself was a sort of swing county that could go either way.
Gradually though, the county slowly started turning more and more red, and since 2022 had solidly been one of the ONLY big city counties that's reliably red. Desantis came within a point of flipping the city proper to republican in his gubernational election, and in 2024 Trump came within less than a point of flipping the city proper.
DESPITE THIS, the city proper (not Miami Dade county) is still this weird "purple-ish" type of place that elects both parties at the state and federal level depending on the area. It HAS been getting redder, obviously, and the county as a whole is now solidly red, but Miami proper has been purple for years now. To be frank its amazing they've had nothing but republican mayors for three decades with their voting patterns.
I will ALSO point out the republican candidate was super weak sauce. He was basically a bush era lacky that was subservient to W Bush and Condoleezza Rice, both of who are widely hated these days by pretty much EVERYONE regardless of political affiliation.
I feel like THIS Is the main problem with a lot of elections (beyond obvious cheating since democrats have historically low support in every poll and study, DESPITE them being manipulated and weighted in their favor) is that republicans in major areas keep running these stupid weak "do nothing" candidates that no one really likes but will only vote for cause of alternative. That gives the liberals a chance to more easily cheat in what SHOULD be easy win elections for us because they can just blame it on low turnout for the "do nothing" candidate while cheating to pump up their own numbers given they have little to no organic support.
This ALL goes back to the election fraud, and given we keep dragging the 2020 election and all the cheating that went on there back up, and Trump and co keep mentioning it, I feel like it'll finally be addressed soon. And most of these people will probably be put out of office and arrested for fraud.
I don't like waiting and seeing this either, but sometimes you gotta wait it out for it to be done right. It's not easy, but sometimes you don't have a choice.

This. Like in Illinois one of the guys trying to run for governor is basically a neocon who was also a DeSimp who keeps distancing himself from Trump and MAGA as if that's a winning strategy.
Yeah they're solving the eggs and gas issues, but they still need to address all the fake job listings, the AI resume filtering because regular people aren't aware of what the AI is filtering out and letting through, and the rest of economy, as well as "entry level" jobs looking for a bachelor's degree at $18 an hour.
Illegals are getting deported quickly, and instead of jobs seemingly opening up its like the private sector is laying people off.
I still don't understand why Trump is more worried about the world stage, i.e stopping wars that nobody cares about, then directly addressing all of the issues domestically
Because it’s all connected in a world economy. Stopping the wars depends on trade agreements and bringing back money and jobs. It’s also about pushing China out of South America and Canada. Trump knows that people that make money with you won’t fight a war against you.
Eileen Higgins’ win was driven less by a partisan “blue wave” and more by Miami-specific dynamics:
deep voter fatigue and local apathy, with years of corruption scandals
a desire for a clean break from the "Cuban Mafia" political ecosystem
and a structurally Democratic-leaning city electorate (the Nov 4 results had the two main Dems, Higgins and Ken Russell with 52% combined) that consolidated behind a reform candidate in a very low-turnout December runoff (run-offs are always smaller turn-outs).
Higgins’ supporters were better organized and more motivated than González’s, especially after he was framed as part of the old guard (he was City Manager in the past) despite his anti-corruption messaging.
Transplants from blue states and national political winds may have contributed at the margins, but they were not a decisive factor.
The race is best understood as a local referendum on City Hall dysfunction rather than a systemic shift in Miami and it's certainly not the "canary in the coal mine" that Dem operatives are touting in the news as evidence of a massive Blue wave in 2026.
"Karen" won because they threw away alot of ballots. Many in Miami are very angry at the amount of "Stadiums" built that got put on the backs of the people. At $600 Billion each, they built one Football, one Baseball and Two Soccer stadiums in addition to a Formula one Layout. On top of it, they started a 'Project' to 'lure' Wall Street and Saudi Arabia that pissed of MANY ! Add it all up and you have a great city on the edge. Lastly, I'm not so sure the elections are so secure and I don't like the idea of them being held at peak vacation time as Europe floods the place, all mostly on mega yachts, penthouses and their beach houses. Definately needs a look. More Karens in office though, geesh.
With all this winning, why do I feel like we are loosing? Not dooming just asking.

I don't blame you, this "one step forward, two steps back" as of late is getting real tiresome.
is that her? that screams KAREN
REEEEEEE!
She's going to find that if she asked to speak to the manager she's going to have to look in the mirror
Miami is run by Cuban cartels and gay mafias.. start there DeSantis
This is bad news
It's a turnout issue. The Republicans have again failed to get out the vote in special or off cycle elections.
This article from April 2025 says Miami is red.

Something stinks.
Ala Shapiro
No Commie Shapiro.
it's almost as though there are illegals voting in Miami.
My word!
This will continue to keep happening, Republican/MAGA has lost atremendous amount of following due to the Epstein list and lack of arrests
