What if part of the purpose of the Berlin Wall (built in 1961) was to confine as many of those people to that area as possible so they could be cleaned out, and it just took a long time to do it?

We do speak of the Holodomor I’m trying to expose crimes of communists, but it’s not often paid attention to that it happened in Ukraine.
Is it possible that cleanup operations are just messy, and have to be sold as something else in order to work and be continuable?

I am currently watching a German TV series called Babylon Berlin which is streaming on Kanopy and Hoopla which are free streaming apps that you can access through your local library. It tells stories of a Berlin police detective and his aide in the 1920s as the communists and Nazis are trying to gain power and the generational culture conflict pushed by the entertainment industry of the time. Many of the stories I recognize from stories my grandfather shared with me.
After watching how easily people even "anons" have been puppeteered on this site and others I see exactly how the stupid is spread.
