Swap the buses, make the parents and politicians use the electric buses to get to work and the kids the regular buses and subways to get to school, let the parents and politicians freeze for a couple of days and they will fix it.
So for SAFETY the kids had to get OFF the frozen “dry” bus to wait for another cold bus by standing in freezing cold weather and probably snow? So glad I never had to take the school bus. Catholic schools didn’t usually have them. Public transportation at .20 each way and school was 8 miles away. I used to love walking to and from school ALONE! Grew up in West LA. Wouldn’t walk to the mailbox now without an escort who is carrying. So glad I moved to CO in 1999.
EVs don't do well in cold or hot climates. The batteries do not have enough energy to operate and power interior climate control at the same time. Also, if the temp is too cold, they won't charge. Then what? The unintended consequences of poorly thought out Democrat political objectives.
My mom had to do that when she was a first-year teacher in Fla. Lol, & then a squirrel joined the class = mad chaos😁 Random note: she also loves Shalimar, so I enjoy seeing your name here!
Seems like the Dems/Commies forgot about auxiliary heating for electric school busses. Well we can't expect them to think of everything-or can we. They can't even keep children warm in winter. And just an aside, heat pumps don't work when the Temps get down to the teens-another Dem/Commie invention probably.
Usually they use diesel heaters on the ev busses. Sucking power from the battery bank to heat the bus is definitely not a good idea. I'm part of a team that is working on ev school busses and other ev projects and are on the edge of a new way to generate heat without using diesel or sucking the battery dry. It will change a lot in the industry when proven. Ev's have their place but are not the be all end all. Some applications they are way better and others they suck
Easy to see coming.
If your not a retard.
The obvious solution is to not send the kids to school. They're not learning anything useful anyway. 🙄
I was about to type the same thing.
Catch on, parents.
They have to leave the heaters off, so they don't get stranded & the kids freeze to death in an unsafe neighborhood.
Their LOGIC is UNDEINIBLE.

Logic does not compute, if you're a liberal green energy fanatic
Maybe they can put wind generators on the roofs to generate more electricity. That's it, I'm a genius. 🤪🤣
What logic?

Certain parts of CO are similar to where you escaped from…they don’t call this place calirado for nuthin’.
Batteries die in frosty weather.
What could possibly go wrong/?
Not wamendated?
Cui bono?
You voted for this you have no excuses stop being liberal before you get more people killed
That's what you get when you vote the libtard way! Hopefully they wake up for midterms and send all their Dems packing

My school bus in New York didn't have heat when I was a kid. And it was a stick shift. Oh my!!!!
No a/c in Fla was fun too🐸
Oh man. I think I'll take no heat with zero humidity.
Same in Louisiana lol. But then, there was no ac in my elementary school at that time either. Open windows and run a fan. (That was in the 70's)

Thank you lol.
Just wait ten years and the global warming will be so extreme snow won't fall in NY.Right?

They should have installed an Aqua-Hot.
