No I haven't needed this concoction of calorie dense nutrition! I don't know how many people have needed it for survival. Fortunately,we still have the grocery store! and hunting, and gardens. I have no idea what it tastes like! but it sustained people in very adverse situations.
I should have taken down the recipe for survival situations. It has been proven for survival, even though I have no idea what is tastes like. But in survival, it doesn't matter what it tastes like! Thankfully the knowledge has been passed down from natives to explorers who actually had to survive on it!
Probably depends a lot on what you've been eating before. If Cap'n Crunch was breakfast, just for an extreme example, anything else for the next week is bland.
It's incredible the overwhelming change sugar makes in our ability to taste. I'd definitely like to try it now that I'm not glucoholic and carboholic anymore.
used on expeditions to the antartic if I recall
There’s nothing I don’t like there. I just hope I can add salt, pepper and garlic.😋
No reason why not!
Have you actually used Pemmican, just kidding unless you used it recently😁.

Thanks for the information. I really didn't know if you tried it or not-but I had to ask.

It was bad enough for me eating MRE's when we had to. I never served in a combat zone, I volunteered to go to Viet Nam but now glad I didn't.
Sounds like a form of SPAM.
way healthier, less sodium, WAY less pig buttholes and penises in pemmican...
Kek!
LOL
Quite interesting. 🧐
I've eaten it in school when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. (Many years ago, youngsters) It was not the greatest thing I ever had.
Seasoning maybe?
Oh I'm sure warm it up, season it, and I'd sing a different song. I just wanted to share my memory of it. 👍
