There is a book: Dark Winter: How the Sun Is Causing a 30-Year Cold Spell by John L. Casey: Published in 2014 that posits there are other more lengthy solar cycles than the 22year cycle most of us are familiar with. He suggests we are coming into a 30+ year cold spell due to the sun.
Time will tell. 65 degrees on Christmas Day in central Nebraska. No snow thus far this winter.
Cherry picking temps in various places that are seeing anomalies doesn't really prove much.
Although, I believe we are headed into a Maunder Minimum soon. And that truly does mean colder temps everywhere over the next several decades. Shorter growing seasons.
A very cold winter in Europe. I recently saw a presentation on how you can overlay the oceanic temperature oscillations and almost perfectly explain the global average temperature, including the apparent slight rise of the such.
Yeah, I've been watching that... makes you wonder about what is really going on. Magnetic pole shift. Solar cycles. I think the sun impacts our weather more than anything, and I also think we are approaching a sun microburst that occurs every 12K years. That's when most of the planet fries. : )
2 freezes in Central Fla. already +Chem trails.
What? Thats too weird! We harvested tomatoes just two weeks ago in Cental Texas!
