Fair point. I’ve known several people who’ve played along. Either in the hopes it’s a phase they’d grow out of. Or because they were deathly afraid of driving their children away and into even worse circumstances. Parents love for their children can sometimes be its own worst enemy.

I had asked quite a few to go with me to the blue vault to buy silver years ago. Only one took me up on it, we went together and she bought 5 k in coins. A couple of the girls texted me and said I wish I would've taken your advice years ago and the girl who went with me texted and copied the other girls and said ,,, I'm sure glad I took your advice lol,
That's cool. I had one friend who i hadn't seen in awhile call for advice on how to sell. I told him,but recommended he hold. I didn't even know he bought any. A couple young guys i work with bought a few coins and some stocks and they are very happy...

What's equally or more dusturbing is that the parents blame the organization for his death rather than the delusion/illness. That they "couldn't find an attorney to take the case" should have been an indication of just how ludicrous their claim is. (But, that may be irrelevant to them if they're trying to cash in on the poor guy's death[?])
What's really telling about how messed-up they/the family is, is that their 6-years-older son (30) has the same delusion/illness and also still lives at home with them. Batting 1000. (Note: Patterns can be informative.)

I don't blame the church. They can't have someone dressed up in drag running around in a place of worship. They have to be considerate of the congregation -- they have expectations of what church should be and a dude in a French maid costume wouldn't be acceptable to the majority.
