It's already at a point where there's violence, Ice agents are losing fingers, civilians are being heckled at home and abused in their cars. The left has flat out shown they aren't human anymore, they're more than happy to maim and kill for their 'revolution'.

If Trump blows his load on Minnesota, then not only does that give others cover to scurry away without facing justice, but it also essentially is what the Dems and the DS wants, the actual optics of Trump being a dictator and the appropriate messaging to their base to vote out tyrants and use every dirty trick in the book to "save our democracy", which translates to "Take power, do not relinquish it and make sure that this never happens again by any means necessary" essentially making Josef Stalin look benevolent by comparison.
You honestly think that perp walking Walz and Frey in handcuffs is going to send a message that we've won? It'd basically be a game of whack-a-mole, a very costly, violent, bloody game of whack-a mole. Riot inc would have a field day. The Summer of Love would look like a fucking garden party. We’ve had a steady diet of ‘Plucky Rebels defeating the Big Bads’ in entertainment and media for well over a century. Whether it’s Nazis, Soviets, the British, Space Empires, our government, secret societies etc. And the country is as divided as it’s ever been at any point outside maybe the Civil War.
There’s no insignificant amount of people on either side of the aisle with main character syndrome. Who might see Troops hitting the street as their opportunity to be the main character. Especially now with Lolbertarians and other people on the right whining about principles over them shooting the latest retard because he had a gun. And because we have the 2nd amendment.
Not to mention a plethora of DIYers and overly creative Rednecks who’ll sell to anyone and everyone. Access to all sorts of nasty weapons is rather prevalent. Whether that’s Kamikaze drones. Bubbas hand-loaded .50 cal custom rounds that have 50/50 odds of blowing a hole in the side of an Armored Car. Or turning the rifle into a grenade. Or any of the numerous Tanks and Cannons in private hands. Hell. The Killdozer proved any rando with a Welding Torch can turn a normal Bulldozer into a Tank.
Doubtful they’ll make any move in the direction of the insurrection act. Until they’re reasonably sure they can contain any kinetic fallout quickly with minimal casualties. And that anyone who might do something stupid in response won’t be coming at them with heavy ordnance.
People who are broadly supportive of you otherwise. May start getting cold feet if Apaches are hunting Tanks and Armored Cars the next town over for example.

This is an important facet of MSM propaganda that is often overlooked. Since the Sixties,that stereotype has been emboldening the Left. Now we have to worry that it might also make eager beavers on the Right trigger-happy. It's not surprising that DJT is being cautious. Each side now sees itself as the Plucky Rebels and the other side as the Big Bads. And they're both just waiting for Palpatine's Big Bad Empire to make the first move, so the Plucky Rebels can fire the Shots Heard Round The World.
