I don't care if a gay guy wants to sell sheets. More power to him. But that will change to caring very much if he starts doing commercials showing nude gay couples enjoying his products or if part of the profit goes to creating gay curriculums for elementary schools or purchasing obscene floats for pride parades.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was a great entertaining show. Sure it was full of flamboyantly gay guys, but they were helping a straight guy and if I remember right it normally worked out pretty good for him. It wasn't pronoun pounding nonsense or all into LGBTQABC rights stuff. And honestly if this guy's got some good like 600 thread-count sheets or something that my wife would like more power to him. It was one of the last "gay and straight can be accepting of each-other and get along" shows out there. Although if the advertising angle was all trans or in your face overly sexual then I'd have an issue.
