One thing that's always been off putting to me is horror movies because I cannot shake the idea that some of the sound clips (screams, bones snapping/ cutting, blood sprays), etc..., may have come from actual satanic ritual shit and they've injected that into movies as a form of you taking part in the abuse, humiliation ritual and them shoving it in your face without you knowing

This is also why ridicule destroys those in power, by making them not serious.)

You superimpose the cadence, pitch and intonation of the spoken words over the cadence, pitch and intonation of the electeonic sound. I didnt hear it until i made myself hear it that way. Parlour trick.
Backward masking was used on records all the way back in the 60s. "The 700 Club" once had a special program about it where a guy had a reel-to-reel tape recorder and played selections from hit records forward and backward. Some records are creepy, but a few have the backward masking added for fun. I have one 45 from the 60s by a bubblegum group that has an Indian chanting recording on the flip side. When you play it backwards, it's just the Howdy Doody theme song.

First time through I only heard electronic beeps etc. but then I could hear the phrase (I don't watch much TV, if any).
My wife however heard the phrase first time, and she does watch TV.
