Frens, I am seeing more posts here with 'old' information that has been labeled as new, astonishing or breaking. A lot is coming from X.com and clearly the posters on x aren't fact checking. Here is an example. Not picking on any dear frens, but wanted to make all aware to question everything. We are supposed to be an elite group of autists, after all. Cheers.

Agreed. We can't all be everywhere all the time, so I don't have an issue with reposts. It's just when something is marketed as breaking when it's actually old. As long as it's labeled as such, it can still be very useful for those who missed it the first time around.
Can you imagine the X clickbaiters posting:
“BREAKING OLD NEWS! I just remembered this thing and am reposting it!”

Which is why any frog researching, trawling through X and posting here should do some basic checks on what they are reposting.
Having ZERO filter between X.com posts and GAW is not a smart way of doing things.
I very rarely post new threads,to much good stuff gets pushed down. IMAO
Perhaps all that are new at the info here go to the RESOURCES part of this page on the right side lower to get a bit educated this Quite a bit there.
